nothing will ever be the same.

Every computer waits to be told.
This one already started.

Ghost reads your mail, your calendar, your tasks and the people you care about — and comes back with what actually needs you. Not a feed. A short list, with the receipts attached.

It does the work you keep meaning to get to.

It reads everything, then says one thing.

Overdue invoices, a reply you owe, a meeting that should move. Ghost goes through all of it and brings back the handful that matter, each one carrying the email or the task it came from.

Nothing happens without you.

Every action arrives as a proposal. You approve it or you dismiss it. And when something lands wrong, undo reaches past the document and into what was actually done.

It keeps the thread of your people.

The birthday you'd have missed. The friend you haven't answered in three weeks. Ghost remembers the way a person would, and says so before it's late.

It builds the thing you asked for.

A tracker, a spreadsheet, a page, a small tool that only you need. Ghost writes it and it's there — kept if it's useful, gone if it isn't.

It can use the web itself.

When something only exists behind a login or a form, Ghost opens a browser and does it. Signing in stays yours; it never goes looking on its own.

It's wherever you are.

A Mac app with a shortcut that reaches it from anywhere. An app on your phone. Notifications that arrive whether or not a browser is open.

You stop being the one who remembers.

The part of your day spent checking whether anything needs you — that part goes. What's left is deciding, which was always the part worth doing.

Ghost for Mac

Ghost over every app on your Mac — nothing on screen until you call it.

Ghost

↓Download the Mac app
  • Do it, ⌥Space. Ghost does what’s in front of you at once — writes the reply into the field, fills in the form, adds the task. When it can’t tell what you want, it asks.
  • The edge, ⌃⌥Space. Tell Ghost anything, from anywhere. It looks at what you have open first and works there — or opens Safari or the app the job needs — asking before anything that commits.
  • Nothing left on screen. No window, no Dock icon. Ghost lives in the notch and speaks up there when something of yours is ready.

Sign in with the same account. The app loads Ghost rather than containing a copy of it, so it stays current on its own — you will not download this twice.

AFTER IT DOWNLOADS

macOS stops the first launch. That is expected — here is the whole way through.

  1. 1
Unzip it and drag Ghost to Applications
Safari unzips the download for you. From another browser, double-click Ghost-mac.zip first.
  2. 2
Open it — macOS will refuse the first time
It says Apple cannot verify the developer. Expected: Ghost is signed, but not notarised by Apple. Click Done, not Move to Trash.
  3. 3
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway
Scroll to Security, where Ghost is listed as blocked. Click Open Anyway and confirm with Touch ID. Once only — every launch after this is normal.
Or, if you would rather use Terminal — same thing, one line:

nothing will ever be the same.

Launch Ghost →
