What Ghost is

Ghost is a personal assistant. It connects to accounts you choose — your email, your calendar — reads what arrives, works out what is going on, and tells you. It acts only when you ask it to or approve something it has prepared. Everything it holds, it holds for you.

What Ghost keeps

Your account (email address, name if you give one). The content of accounts you connect, cached so Ghost can read across them: email, calendar events, files you put in Ghost, tasks, notes, and the people who appear in them. What you say to Ghost and what it says back. A record of every action it takes on your behalf, so you can see it and undo it.

What Ghost does with it

It shows it to you, summarises it for you, drafts things for you, and carries out what you approve. To do that, text is sent to AI model providers to be processed. Those providers are contractually bound not to train on it or keep it beyond the request. Ghost does not sell your data, does not show you advertising, and does not share your information with anyone for their marketing.

Text messages

Ghost can text you. You opt in by entering your mobile number in Settings → Text Ghost and confirming a one-time code sent to that number; nobody can enrol a number they do not hold. Messages are a short morning summary of what moved and anything waiting for your decision, replies to things you text Ghost, and occasionally a draft Ghost has prepared for your approval. Frequency varies with how much you use it — typically one message a day plus your own conversation.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and Ghost will stop texting you; reply HELP for help, or email the address below. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are used only to text you. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Who can see it

You. Ghost’s systems, to do the work above. Service providers that run those systems — hosting, databases, the messaging carrier, AI model providers — each only to the extent needed to provide their service. No one else, unless the law requires it.

What Ghost learns about you (your core) is encrypted with a key made for you alone before it is stored; see how your core is protected.

Where it lives, and for how long

On servers in the United States. For as long as you have an account. Disconnect an account and Ghost stops reading it; delete your Ghost account and everything it held is deleted.

Your choices

Connect and disconnect accounts at any time in Settings. Remove your phone number or opt out of texts at any time. Export or delete your data by asking. Questions, or anything you want changed: hello@ghostos.cloud.
